LLM SOCIETY SEMINAR HELD ON FRIDAY,14TH NOVEMBER 2008

The LLM Society seminar on 'Contract Negotiations in the oil and gas industry' was successfully held on friday,14th November, 2008 at NK1. It was highly rewarding as the Guest speaker Mr. Bede Nwete took time to shade light on 'chain contract' issues in the industry. True to a core professional, the guest speaker took the participants through some thought-provoking questions that left our mouth agap. We were able to understand some key areas to research on especially for job interviews and some contemporary issues of relevance in the industry.
The seminar was interactive and at the end students were so elated with the LLM Society EXCO for inviting such a sound professional to interact with us. Even when the seminar ended, students were engaged in friendly discussions with our guest speaker untill we walked him to his car.
On the other hand Mr. Nwete has expressed his willingness to honour our future invitations whenever we are ready. Again he promised to make his power point presentation on the subject available to us soon.
